A great deal of medical research into vaccines is undertaken by scientists working directly or indirectly for the pharmaceutical companies. Their institution or research is funded by these companies or by foundations supportive of vaccines.
Also, their findings are published in medical journals that are reliant on pharmaceutical companies for their income, if not their very survival (see this article: Medical Journals Are an Extension of the Marketing Arm of Pharmaceutical Companies)
Therefore it is crucial to look at independent research to get an accurate view of what is going on with vaccines.
Below is a collection of just a few of the many independent science studies finding connections between both infant mortality and chronic illnesses and vaccines, and an explanation of how vaccine manufacturers are protected from liability for damage done by vaccines.
It is often said that vaccines have reduced infant mortality, however contemporary evidence shows strong correlations between vaccines and infant deaths.
Miller and Goldman
This study by Miller and Goldman demonstrates in striking visual form that the number of infants dying each year increases in proportion to the number of doses of vaccine routinely injected into them:

The CIA World Factbook
The following report of 2015 figures shows that infant mortality rate is higher in the United States than in 49 other nations of the world, including the Guam, San Marino, Cuba, Belarus, Macau, and Bermuda. The USA also happens to give more vaccines to infants in their first year of life than any other country.
Find in the report:
USA No. 167, 5.87 deaths/1,000 live births
Australia No. 188, 4.37 deaths/1,000 live births
UK No. 187, 4.38 deaths/1,000 live births
(Infant mortality rate compares the number of deaths of infants under one year old in a given year per 1,000 live births in the same year. This rate is often used as an indicator of the level of health in a country.)
Save the Children
Though not a science study, a 2013 report from Save the Children is interesting. It found that the USA has more deaths on the first day of life than do all other industrialised nations.
Here is the report, the industrialised nations section starts on page 55:
Surviving the First Day – State of the World’s Mothers 2013
The report suggests premature births, teen mothers, poverty and racism are behind the figures. Perhaps the USA giving babies the Hep B vaccine and a vitamin K shot on the day of birth, and vaccines during pregnancy, neither of which are widespread in most other industrialised countries, could be contributing factors Save the Children have not considered.
Here is an article about the report:
US Ranks No. 69 in Lowest ‘First Day’ Newborn Deaths
Vaccines connected to chronic disease
Though the mechanisms by which vaccines damage are not yet fully understood, the connections that independent research have found between vaccines and a host of chronic diseases have become incontestable. Some of the effects are clearly ascribable to the doses of aluminium delivered by intramuscular injection.

How vaccine manufacturers are protected
This article in Pace International Law Review reports on how the pharmaceutical companies have been given immunity from being sued for vaccine damage, in the USA. This lack of accountability is of great concern.
“Vaccines are a type of ‘unavoidably unsafe’ product; that is, a vaccine is a product that is incapable of being made safe for its intended and ordinary use … The Court takes as true the premise that vaccines are unavoidably unsafe. Since the government mandates the use of an unavoidably unsafe product, it is reasonable to believe that some people will be injured by it. Vaccine makers will take a big hit if everyone that is injured sues, and an even bigger hit if plaintiffs are successful – since vaccine makers will then be obligated to compensate their victims.”
