TGA and ATAGI at odds over boosters for adolescents 12 to 15 years old

ATAGI issued a statement on the 8th of April saying that “ATAGI does not recommend that adolescents aged 12-15 years need to receive a booster dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine…”

Meanwhile, the TGA issued a statement that same day, advising “The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has provisionally approved the Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd COVID-19 vaccine, COMIRNATY, for use as a booster in individuals aged 12 to 15 years old.”
