Our boy Louis, is a happy & healthy, near 5 year old. We decided well before becoming parent's, that our children would not be vaccinated. Havin g spent some time travelling in Europe, I also did research over there. The hardest thing is dealing with inquisitive family & friends, so to get around this, we told all when asked, that we intended on vaccinating Louis once he had turned 1 year old. By then everyone had forgotten. We have never had a problem with day care & school enrolments either.

Our beautiful daughter was born at home in May 2006. After much research, we made the decision to abstain from all vaccinations. We have only needed to take her to the doctor once in her entire life which turned out to be for a minor viral infection that needed no intervention.  |

As soon as I fell pregnant with our IVF baby, I started my own research on childhood vaccination. Both my sister and a friend had babies just a few weeks apart. One chose not to vaccinate at all and the other did so, administering every vaccination at the ‘required’ age. The one who is not vaccinated has only been sick with a cold about 2 times. The other one was at the doctors every second week through winter.  |
